Junior dos Santos vs. Alistair Overeem

JDS earned a big win but he is still far away from the title as long as Cain holds it. The Overeem fight has been coming for a long time and JDS has seemed out of it in fights. Maybe relighting this feud would be a good thing.

Rafael dos Anjos vs. Anthony Pettis

Rafael dos Anjos earned his shot at the title even with Khabib in the mix. The knockout of Benson Henderson should have caused that, but then he took out Nate Diaz as well. Pettis is a tough fight, but he has a lot of tools to challenge the new champion which makes it a good fight.

Matt Mitrione vs. Sao Palelei

Mitrione has another big knockout, but he still is only a few fights removed from being submitted by Brendan Schaub. Palelei had a slip up after three straight knockouts and rebounded with another big win. Seems like the time to match to two up for a chance to crack the top ten.

Joanna Jędrzejczyk vs. Carla Esparza

She beat the consensus number one contender, so it seems like she deserves the next title shot. No one would think anyone else deserves it especially if they are coming off the TUF show.

John Moraga vs. Jussier Formiga

Moraga and Formiga were supposed to fight and it still makes sense. Both are top fighters a win or two away from another title shot and as long as they are both healthy than match them up.

Ben Saunders vs. Jake Ellenberger

Saunders could be a top 15 fighter and with that affecting pay then he should be matched up with someone that can help him crack that barrier. Ellenberger does not deserve to be there at this point, so match the two up to see who stays and gets a bigger paycheck.

Miocic did not fall far, but he needs to rebuild.  Oliynyk needs a big opponent due to his impressive win streak and run through his first two opponents.

Top ranked opponents who are very similar in style. Only one can be in the top five.

Gabriel Gonzaga vs. Brendan Schaub

Loser leaves town as simple as that.
