School Owners and Competitors: The 3rd Annual Hoosier Open Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Tournament is only 5 weeks away. Please visit http://indianapolisjiujitsu.com/Hoosier2006.htm for all tournament information and to take advantage of the easy on-line registration. Be sure to register early, and remember the registration fee is $10 more the day of the event. A couple of important points to remember:1. Please make sure students register under the same school name so your team gets proper credit towards the Team Award. 2. This year Weigh-ins are with the GI on, so make sure you select your weight division on the registration form based upon your weight with the GI on. 3. This year the tournament will be held at a new location at Guerin Catholic High School on the north side of Indianapolis. And also the Friday night weigh-ins will be at Indianapolis Jiu-Jitsu in Carmel, IN. See the tournament website for maps and directions to both locations. 4. Finally, if you’re traveling from a distance and need a hotel, be sure to book your room early as there are other events in the area this weekend. We have 2 hotels holding a block of rooms under the name HOOSIER OPEN (see tournament website) and they will be releasing the rooms several weeks before the tournament.
