“IFL BATTLEGROUND” TO ANCHOR MyNetworkTV’s FALL SCHEDULE

As expected, MyNetworkTV announced its fall lineup yesterday, and “IFL Battleground” will remain in its prominent Monday night (8 p.m. ET/PT; 7 p.m. CT/MT) position, with re-airs on Saturday nights. The show has been the driving force in MyNet’s increase in the male demo from previous programming as the fledgling Network enters its second year. The details and format for the new fall shows will be announced in the coming weeks. “IFL Battleground” remains the only MMA program to be seen in prime time on broadcast TV. “We are looking forward to expanding the audience and continuing to improve our content as we move into our first playoff series and then on to our World Grand Prix,” said IFL co-founder and comissioner Kurt Otto. “FSN and MyNetwork have given us a great platform to showcase our new brand, our world champion coaches and our great athletes to a large audience, and we are very excited about the future.”
