NEW YORK, May 16, 2007 – The International Fight League (OTC.BB: IFLI), the world’s number one professional mixed martial arts league, announced today that it has teamed with legendary record producer Jazze Pha to produce “Fight League,“ an anthem featuring a combination of rising music stars, legendary IFL coaches and some of the IFL’s prominent athletes, including the Quad Cities Silverbacks’ Rory Markham and the New York Pitbulls’ Jamal Patterson.

The video of “Fight League” will be seen in its entirety on “IFL Battleground,” on Monday, May 21 (8 p.m. ET/PT; 7 p.m. CT/MT). A lighthearted “behind the scenes” piece created by noted television producer Darren Ewing is now available at http://www.ifl.tv/TV-Battleground-Fight-Song.html “This was a great opportunity for the IFL to try something outside the traditional and work with one of the greats in modern music in Jazzy Pha,” said IFL CEO and co-founder Gareb Shamus. “Not only is the music appealing to a wide range of folks, but the humorous behind the scenes clips that we are putting out are classic. We thank everyone involved and know that it will be an enjoyable change of pace for everyone.”

“There is no doubt that Mixed Martial Arts is growing as a sport amongst all communities, and we think the IFL has the perfect mix of action and personalities to appeal to an urban audience,” added Jazze Pha. “We have worked with some of the greatest artists in music, and bringing these world champions into the studio was a lot of fun. We think everyone is going to enjoy this.”

In addition to Jazze Pha (pronounced “Jazzy Fay”), who has worked with some of the legends in the music business from Britney Spears to P. Diddy to Missy Elliott, the song has the vocals of rising stars like Tracey Hale, Dean and the work of Vawn. The main vocals in the song include world champion coaches Matt Lindland (Portland Wolfpack). Renzo Gracie (New York Pitbulls), Igor Zinoviev (Chicago Red Bears), Pat Miletich (Quad City Silverbacks), along with “IFL Battleground” host Bas Rutten in addition to Markham and Patterson.
