The world of MMA is becoming more mainstream in more ways than one, because a lot of women associated with the sport are vying for the top spot in the yearly pole. People that have topped the pole were Jessica Alba, Olivia Wilde, and Eva Longoria. Those are women that have defined the ideal of sexiness for the last few decades, and if someone can top that list associated with the sport of MMA it is definitely a step up for the sport in the world of recognition.
Some of the people that are up for the top 100 are the easiest to recognize in the Ring Girls. This is not the first time that Arianny Celeste has been included in the Hot 100 before, and now she may not even be the highest on the list of MMA related people on the list. The other ring girl up for the top spot is Brittney Palmer who has floated in and out of being ring girl before, but she has been on the scene for a while and seems to be a fan favorite. Also, on the list of MMA personalities is Kendra Perez known for her work on multiple UFC programs.
Of course, MMA personalities are not the only on the list, because with the advent of Women being in the UFC they have made it onto the list as well. First, is someone from the old guard with Gina Carano who has been on the list before and has not fought in years. The two biggest female draws in the UFC are Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate who had the rivalry of the year last year. Tate posed for the ESPN the body issue, something that Rousey had already done, showing off her impressive body of work from MMA. Rousey once again bared it for a non-profit. Can she make it to the top after being female fighter of the year? Only time will tell.
