On Friday, August 16th, the "City of Lights" will become the "City of Fights" as Resurrection Fighting Alliance (RFA) brings its action-packed, exciting, live MMA event to Los Angeles, California. RFA 9 – Munhoz vs. Curran will see two of MMA’s top jiu-jitsu black belts, Pedro "The Young Punisher" Munhoz (8-0) and Jeff "Big Frog" Curran (36-15-1), square off for the vacant RFA bantamweight title. In the co-main event of the evening, two more jiu-jitsu black belts will battle as UFC vet "King" Kevin Casey (5-3) faces Strikeforce vet Casey "Spider Monkey" Ryan (5-0). The stacked 11-bout pro MMA card will take place inside the StubHub Center in Carson, California, which is home to the L.A. Galaxy. RFA 9 – Munhoz vs. Curran will be televised nationwide on AXS TV starting at 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT.
