Master Rickson Gracie President of the Jiu-Jitsu Global Federation (JJGF) signs into the official JJGF rules the endorsement for modern six (6) minute matches for adult black belts, brown belts, purple belts and blue belts.
The JJGF now endorses for jiu-jitsu competition:
1. 10 minute traditional black belt matches.
2. 6 minute modern black belt matches.
3. Unlimited or 20 minute black belt challenge matches submission only.
The Jiu-Jitsu Global Federation was established to help support and bring quality services to individual practitioners, competitors, academy owners, independent promoters and instructors with diverse levels of knowledge and experience in Jiu-Jitsu.
