Weekend Warrior Camps Provide Safe, Personalized Instruction


STATE COLLEGE, Pa., – Ken Chertow Wrestling, the nation’s largest wrestling camp system, will host 16 weekend camps across the U.S. from now through December. Camps will be held in Pennsylvania, New York, Texas, Georgia, New Jersey, Michigan, Indiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Wisconsin, the Carolinas, and Oregon. Olympian Ken Chertow owns and operates camp, and hires an outstanding staff of dedicated coaches and clinicians to work with the wrestlers.


Coach Chertow’s Weekend Warrior Camp system provides wrestlers with personalized instruction and training, and is designed for all ages and skill levels. The camps are an ideal opportunity for wrestlers to learn the skills necessary to help them reach their highest goals.


Coach Chertow is a 3x NCAA All-American at Penn State University and United States Olympian. Chertow, who has been teaching and coaching wrestling for more than 20 years, including coaching stints at both Penn State and Ohio State Universities, has seen his students succeed at the state, national and world level. Chertow’s camps have helped produce more than 500 state champions from 1998-2007. Chertow’s focus is helping kids grow into successful student-athletes with a passion for wrestling and personal achievement.


Each Weekend Warrior Camp consists of four primary elements including technique instruction, intense drilling, live wrestling and sports science discussions. These fundamentals, coupled with a safe and productive learning environment, offer campers the chance to be a part of a unique, motivational athletic experience.


Coach Chertow’s camps include hours of instruction and training, food and housing if needed. Generous group discounts also apply.
