Conor McGregor vs. Frankie Edgar
McGregor lost but it does not change the fact that he is still the champion at 145. A lot of people want to see him fight Jose Aldo again but that fight does not make sense after a 13 second knockout and considering the tear that Edgar is on. He wants to fight at UFC 200 and defend his belt so it will just depend on who is ready. If Edgar can take the fight then make it happen.
Nate Diaz vs. Rafael dos Anjos
Diaz came through with a big win, saved a UFC card and did a huge favor for the UFC. Now, it makes sense for him to get a shot at the last man to bet him for the 155 belt. It does not matter who is in front of him logically since this is the fight that needs to happen.
Miesha Tate vs. Amanda Nunes
Tate realized her dreams, waited in line and came through with a huge victory over a tough opponent. She should not be rewarded with Rousey getting a title shot considering Rousey is nowhere near ready. Tate should have o defend against the logical number one contender in Amanda nunes who earned her title shot with a third straight victory an this one coming over a tough top ten fighter. Rousey has a different fight in her future.
Holly Holm vs. Ronda Rousey
Once again the UFC made the mistake on waiting on a big money fight and now the significance is lost a little on this bout. I do not believe that Rousey will be fighting for much longer and if he wants to retire champion, then we need to see this rematch before it is too late for it to happen. For Rousey to secure her legacy, she needs to prove she can beat the one woman to make her look human. This is the fight everyone wants to see.
Ilir Latifi vs. Corey Anderson
Both of these light-Heavyweights had good wins this weekend and find themselves in similar spots right outside the top 7 or 8 of the division. They should face off to see who gets a shot at cracking that top five. Will either of them ever fight for the title? Well, have these two face off to see who could potentially be that good.
