UFC Fight Night 59 Predictions

UFC Fight Night 59 Predictions will give us too big showdowns in the Featherweight and Lightweight divisions. Who continues toward their title shot?

UFC Fight Night 59 Predictions

UFC Fight Night 59 Predictions could propel Conor McGregor toward the fabled title shot but he must pass the vaunted striking of Dennis Siver first.

UFC Fight Night 59 Predictions

Conor McGregor vs. Dennis Siver

This fight is truly weird to be a potential number one contenders fight. While McGregor has won four straight fights he has not fought his heel which would be a hard chinned wrestler and Siver does not impose that. Yes, he is a great striker, but with only one win over a nobody in the last year it is hard to call him a contender. McGregor wins by knockout in the first.

Benson Henderson vs. Donald Cerrone

This is a hard fight to call because while Henderson has not lost a step, he has not gained that many skills. Cerrone has gotten more dangerous and only better with time. The negative there is he fought two weeks ago. Cerrone needs to keep this fight standing and pressure Henderson while Henderson needs to grind this fight away. I will pick Cerrone just off of his hunger to win more.

Norman Parke vs. Gleison Tibau

Parke is a good fighter but seems to be a grinder. There is no way that he can out grind and out muscle the much bigger Tibau. With only four TKOs to his record, Parke will not finish Tibau nor submit him. Tibau takes a decision victory.

John Howard vs. Lorenz Larkin

Lorenz Larkin now meets his thrid weight class as he drops to Welterweight facing another former Middleweight in Howard. Howard will not be able to out muscle, out strike and should be matched on the ground with Larkin. This should mean Larkin finally picks up his second win out of five fights for the UFC.
