UFC Fight night 63 Predictions has a main event pitting two former number one contenders for the Featherweight title facing off in Ricardo Lamas and Chad Mendes. Who will get one more fight closer to a title fight?
UFC Fight night 63 Predictions: Main Card
Ricardo Lamas vs. Chad Mendes
Mendes has only lost twice in his career both time to Jose Aldo while Lamas has only lost at 145 to Aldo as well. The x-factor here is going to be who has the better wrestling. Mendes should be able to outgrapple and strike Lamas to a late TKO victory.
Jorge Masvidal vs. Al Iaquinta
Masvidal has good striking but Iaquinta has more power. Also, Masvidal has great grappling, but he will only get it to the ground if Iaquinta lets it go there. Iaquinta has this fight to lose, but he is streaking right now and will continue to roll with a decision win in this fight.
Michael Chiesa vs. Mitch Clarke
Clarke is a decent fight but his constant time off is going to hurt him. He has not fought in nearly a year while Chiesa has at least fought one time in that span. His pressure and grappling prowess will finish Clarke in the second.
Julianna Pena vs. Milana Dudieva
Pena is a decent fighter but it is already hard to know how someone will come back from such a big injury. She is also working at a disadvantage considering that Dudieva has such an experience advantage. Dudieva will take a decision victory of the former TUF champion.
Clay Guida vs. Robbie Peralta
We should see a new Guida in this fight considering he has switched camps and now trains with Alpha Male. Peralta is a good fighter, but Guida has only lost to top five fighters over lightweight and featherweight. Guida will be able to get this to the ground and be able to submit this.

Liz Carmouche vs. Lauren Murphy
Carmouche will need to get this fight to the ground to win but Murphy will need to keep it standing to win this fight as well. This will be a grinding fight but Murphy should take this fight by decision.
Gray Maynard vs. Alexander Yakovlev
Loser leaves town match? Maynard cannot take a lot of damage but Yakovlev is a not someone with that great knockout power. Maynard should pick up a win but the issue is he needs to retire on this win and ride off into the sunset.
