UFC Fight Night 68 Predictions: Main Event

Tim Boestch vs. Dan Henderson

Boestch and Henderson might be on their last legs in the Octagon since both have multiple losses in their last few fights.Henderson still has great wrestling and the power int he right hand. That should carry him to victory. There is not much that Boestch can challenge with unless he swarms the former PRIDE champion. Look for Henderson to land a fight ending punch in the third round.

UFC Fight Night 68 Predictions: Co-Main Event

Ben Rothwell vs. Matt Mitrione

Rothwell has not been the fighter he was cracked up to be. Even in his wins they do not look clean. he was hurt by Schaub and Overeem before the wins. Mix that in with failed drug test and extended layoffs and you have a recipe for disaster. Mitrione may be a little bit older but that also means he has more potential for growth as well as not taken as much damage as Rothwell. Look for Mitrione to use his speed to pick apart the tough Rothwell to a decision win.

UFC Fight Night 68 Predictions: Undercard

Dustin Poirier vs. Yancy Medeiros

Medeiros proved he has a good ground game but he will have to get Poirier tot he ground to do anything. That may be tough considering that Poirier has finished his last three wins by knockout and two came in the first round. He looks even better at Lightweight so expect the same with a first round TKO.

Shawn Jordan vs. Derrick Lewis

Two first round finishers will have to see who can catch the other first. More importantly it may come down to who has the better chin as well. Jordan has lost six times being knocked out in four of them while Lewis has lost three times with only one knockout loss. While Jordan has a win over Lewis look for the rivalry to even out with a Lewis knockout in round two.
