LAS VEGAS, Nevada — UFC ring girl Arianny Celeste started her Memorial Day weekend with a memory she would like to soon forget, after she was arrested early this morning for allegations of domestic violence.
According to the Clark County Detention Center, Celeste was taken into custody at 7:30 a.m. today and held on $3,000 bond. She spent the day behind bars with many believing she would not be released until Tuesday due to the holiday on Monday.
That would only increase her legal problems, because if Celeste did not post bond within 48 hours, the female figurehead of the UFC would go before a judge.
In addition to her work with the UFC, Celeste has modeled for the Grand Slam of men’s magazines: Maxim, FHM, Sports Illustrated, and Playboy.
Fortunately, for the UFC heartthrob, Celeste had powerful lawyers and the UFC brass in her corner. She was released from jail within the past hour, after spending 12 hours in jail.
Two hours ago, UFC president Dana White told TMZ, "Arianny is our baby. She has been with us for over five years. She is a good girl and an amazing ambassador for UFC. I don’t know all the details of what happened but we have her back and support her 100%."
After being released from jail, Celeste was quickly picked up and escorted to the MGM Grand Garden Arena to get back to work ringside at UFC 146. She arrived midway through the Nelson-Herman bout on the main card, roughly 45 minutes after posting bail. Brittney Palmer had been working the entire event by herself up to that point.
