Dave 'Speedy' Elliott is a brown belt in BJJ under Marc Walder. Dave received his brown belt in 2007 from Marc Walder.

Dave's MMA career has seen him fight 15 times with a 9-6-0 record. He has competed on the top shows in the UK, such as Cage Rage, Cagewarriors, Angrrr Management and was the Total Combat Lightweight Champion after defeating Andy Melia by armbar in 31 seconds.

Dave earned his nickname for the speed in which he has beaten his opponents. In his 9 victories in MMA he has ended 8 of them in under 1 minute. In his first BJJ tournament he won his category following 7 victories in a combined time of under 2 minutes. The name just applies itself.

Before coming into the world of MMA and BJJ Dave had also built up records in boxing and kickboxing with over 50 bouts between the two sports, and several times representing Team England in kickboxing.

Dave has competed against some top fighters including Jean Da Silva and Gerald Strebendt, the latter using the first ever 'Twister' to win the match.

Dave took some time off from MMA in 2005 to concentrate on his BJJ but has now returned to the MMA, with a victory over Ryan Norwood at Angrr Management and another fight booked for October on the same show.
