Erin Toughill is a mixed martial artist and boxer, born in Chicago, Illinois on 13 June 1977. She says she originally got into martial arts "so that I could have a positive outlet for my aggression". Toughill took up kickboxing at the age of 18, then brazilian jiu jitsu two years later.

She began competing in mixed martial arts on 27 September 1999, drawing with Irma Verhoeff at World Vale Tudo Championship 9 in Aruba. Less than a year later, she made her professional boxing debut, on 20 July 2000. Her most recent boxing match was against Laura Ramsey. Toughill won by unanimous decision.

On August 31, 2006 at Harvey's Lake Tahoe, Stateline, Nevada, Laura Ramsey (160 lbs) avenged her earlier loss to Erin Toughill (158½ lbs) by scoring a spectacular TKO at 1:28 in the first round when she knocked Toughill through the ring ropes and onto a ringside table. The fight was called so that Toughill could be checked for a more serious injury than the cuts she sustained in her fall from the ring, whose ropes were unusually loose. Toughill fell (literally!) to 7-3-1 (0 KO's).

Along with her MMA competitive record, in boxing she has 7 wins, 2 losses and 1 draw.
