Overview
Founded by the UK's first BJJ Black Belt, Jude Samuel (student of Mauricio Motta Gomes and Roger Gracie)The European Fight Network ([EFNSports.com]) is a UK based organisation who's primary focus is running Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Submission Wrestling tournaments.
Urban Gorillaz
The Urban Gorillaz Grappling Challenge brand is fast growing to become the biggest Sub wrestling show in Europe. Urban Gorillaz Grappling Challenge is the tournament arm of the European Fight Network. With around 8 - 10 tournaments a year, EFN managed to push the standards of both BJJ and Submission grappling to another level in Europe.
Gracie Invitational
This year (2006) saw the Gracie Invitional become Europe's biggest BJJ Tourmant, with more than 600 competitors taking part.
2005 saw 22,000 visitors to the Seni, across 14,000 sqm. There are over 200 exhibitors claiming to be the largest event of its type worldwide. Visitors are typically martial arts practitioners, fighters and fight fans. 65% are male aged between 20 - 35. The tournament get covered online, on TV and in the press.
