Fabio Santos

Fabio Santos began his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu career studying in Rio de Janeiro under Rolls Gracie, who died prematurely in an accident. At that point Fabio, like many of Rolls' students, began training under Rickson Gracie. Fabio left Brazil to teach physical fitness in New York, but moved to Utah and lived the ski lifestyle until coming into contact with Pedro Sauer. Shortly thereafter he relocated to Los Angeles and helped the Gracie Family prepare Royce Gracie for his famous beginnings in the UFC. Today he is a 6th degree black belt under Rickson and he currently owns and operates the Fabio Santos Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy in San Diego, California, where he has been since 1994.
