JD Shelley (2nd American black belt under the legendary Romero "Jacare" Cavalcanti, founder of Team Alliance) is one of Texas' predominant instructors, teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, MMA, Submission Grappling, JKD concepts, and Modern Warrior Programs (special weapons and self defense courses). JD trains extensively to improve his own skills, and as a result, his students receive the latest techniques and knowledge. He has over 24 years combined training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Submission Wrestling, MMA, Muay Thai, Jeet Kune Do, American Freestyle (Black Belt), Art of Combat (4th Level Instructor), Kali, HanboJutsu, Nunchaku.
