Pedro Sauer

Headquartered in The Washington D.C. area, Pedro Sauer is a 7th Degree Red/Black belt under the legendary Rickson Gracie and personally endorsed by Grand Master Helio Gracie. He is also one of the few people to get the diploma of Professor from Helio Gracie himself. Pedro is known for being a articulate instructor and is highly sought after for seminars. He gave up a career as a lawyer to concentrate his full-time on learning and teaching jiu-jitsu.

His organization continues to spread throughout the United States, and he maintains a high-level of expectations for his affiliates. He has created a core curriculum that his instructors can follow so that their students can be solidly grounded in core techniques/strategies, giving structure to their training and letting them move to a higher level of technical proficiency at a faster rate.

Pedro heads the Pedro Sauer Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Association, one of the largest and most respected jiu-jitsu associations in the world.
