BTT Black Belt who won the Brazilian qualifier for the 2005 ADCC. Fought well in the finals and lost a tough match in the quarter finals to Pablo Popovich. Despite being labeled a ground fighter he also very dangerous on his feet. Fought a very tough Anerson Silva early in his career. His biggest fight in the last couple of years was a very exciting fight with Ryo Chonan that he was winning up until the fight was stopped due to a deep cut on his head.
