Head Coach Scott Hewitt has spent more than 30 years in health, fitness, and the martial arts. His friendly nature and genuine interest to help each of his students is the hallmark of this lifelong martial artist and trainer.


In 1999 Coach Hewitt began his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training and currently trains under Renato Tavares of American Top Team and is a charter member of the Renato Tavares Association. On September 11th, 2005 Coach Hewitt was promoted to brown belt by Renato Tavares.


He has dedicated the rest of his life to training, and teaching the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu "Having a school in the same town you were born in is truly a lifelong dream come true."


"The word Titan, is a Greek word the means 'A person or thing of great strength and power.' The strength I gained from my first days of martial arts training had a lifelong impact that has culminated in what is know Titan Martial Arts. I have dedicated myself to instilling this strength in others and my hope is that each person that considers training at Titan Martial Arts has the desire to better him/herself not only in the martial way but in life."
