Triton Fight Center, one of the most acclaimed Mixed Martial Arts/Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu School in the Midwest. Classes are taught by MMA instructors/owners (Piet Wilhelm and Summer Wilhelm) holding black belts and titles in other forms of martial arts. Classes accommodate individuals of any experience level (from beginner to advanced), any fitness level (from inactive to athletic shape), every age group (from 5 to 75 years old), both men and women. Students who seek more personal approach will also benefit from semi-private and one-on-one training. Triton provides a unique curriculum, which allows members to evaluate their goals and progress throughout their lessons. Joining in courses may cause one of the following symptoms: realistic self-defense knowledge, improved fitness level, increased self-confidence, continuous stress relief, consistent mental focus, strong emotional balance, more flexibility, healthy weight loss, natural muscle gain, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
The main facility is located at 51st and Memorial (behind the Walgreens) in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Affiliated schools are located in Tonkawa and soon in Costa Rica. The Triton Fight Centers are mixed martial arts schools, which teaches a mixture of Boxing, Kickboxing, Karate, American JuJitsu, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Greco-Roman Wrestling, and Marine Corps Martial Arts. As a mixed martial arts school, Triton appreciates the benefits of learning for competition, but also see the realistic need for self-defense for men, women, and children. Therefore, the facility presents techniques in a realistic and easy-to-learn method.
Triton promotes their MMA practitioners under a shirt ranking system starting with white being the junior shirt and black being the most senior. The ranking order goes as follows: white, blue, purple, green, red, brown, and black. Triton BJJ practitioners are promoted within traditional Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu ranks with the exception of green belt being recognized as a senior white belt.
