Saulo Ribeiro

Pupil of the legendary Royler Gracie. Multiple time world champion in gi and no gi competitons (Mundials and ADCC). Highly respected for both his competitive and teaching abilities. Also a judoka, he uses impressive standup skills to gain an edge over competitors in the gi. Recently retired from gi competition (at least at the Mundial level) to concentrate on no gi competitions and teaching.

Saulo has an association of schools centered mainly in the midwestern United States. In February 2007, Saulo opens his University of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Noteworthy attendees of the opening include Kid Peligro, Royler Gracie, and others.
