6th AZ International Open of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

GD JIU-JITSU Events in association with the Arizona State Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (AZSBJJF) is proud to announce the 6th AZ International Open of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu <http://www.strongvon.com/azopen6> . The competition will take place on February 26-27, 2011 at Westwood High School located at 945 W. 8th St. in Mesa, AZ 85201.

The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competition will offer Kids, Juveniles, Adult (Male and Female), Masters and Senior Divisions. Last year, the tournament brought in 560 competitors, and with the 2nd Southwest Classic bringing in 610, it is expected that in 2011, the AZSBJJF will break 700 competitors!

Competitors will have the chance to win prizes such as a Nintendo Wii and Sponsorship Package to compete at the 2011 Pan Jiu-Jitsu Championship in Irvine, CA. The Sponsorship Package will include Registration fee, airfare, and hotel accomodations (Restrictions apply. See Registration website for full details).

The AZSBJJF Award Ceremony for the 2010 MVP Competitors of the Year and winners of the 2010 Overall School Rankings will be held during the tournament. Winners will receive trophies for their achievements and MVPs will receive a plaque and sponsorship to ALL AZSBJJF tournaments for the year of 2011. Here are the winners:
