After a Woman is Sexually Assaulted Near UCLA
On September 29, 2011 a woman was sexually assaulted near UCLA. Here are the details of the assault from the Daily Breeze article posted on 9/29/11:
The attack on Strathmore Avenue at Levering Avenue occurred about 7 p.m. Saturday as the unidentified woman was walking west and listening to music, according to UCLA police. A sunburned, roughly 6-foot-1-inch man followed her about 50 feet, grabbed her by the waist and dragged her into a 10- or 15-year-old white Honda Civic, where he sexually assaulted her, police said.
The woman eventually was able to get away from the man, who drove off. He was described as heavily built with short brown hair, and was wearing beige athletic shorts, white shoes and a black cotton T-shirt with "Nike" on it.
Anyone with information was asked to call campus police at (310) 794- 5824. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
