Future Matches UFC 183

Future Matches UFC 183 will have current champions ready to face new challengers coming off of this card. But who deserves the title shots next?

Future Matches UFC 183: Winners

Anderson Siva vs. GSP

This fight needs to happen. Both want to retire and are not ready for another title shot, but seem searching for that one last big fight. Let these two former kingpins of UFC divisions face off and both ride out into the sunset on a superfight.

Tyron Woodley vs. Winner of Demian Maia vs. Ryan LaFlare

Woodley finds himself stuck with most of the top fighters already locked into bouts. Maia is a very good fighter while LaFlare would be on a five fight win streak and ready for a challenge with a win over Maia.

Al Iaquinta vs. Jorge Masvidal

They need a new fight for Masvidal and Iaquinta seems to be ready for another fight. If he wants to climb the ladder fast, this seems like an easy step for him to make it toward the top of the division.

Thales Leites vs. Gegard Mousasi

Leites has won five straight in the UFC Middleweight division and deserves a shot at the top of the division. Mousasi is a top shelf fighter, but he has lost to the best of 185. If Leites can beat him as well he deserves to ascend back to the top five.

Thiago Alves vs. Carlos Condit

This has fireworks all over it. Both are tough fighters who have fought for the real title, but have had some layoffs due to injuries. A fight here would reassert them in the top five.

Miesha Tate vs. Sarah Kaufman

Tate has a while to get back to the title shot, but beating someone who beat her would help. Kaufman holds a win over Tate and could pose a good matchup for the former Strikeforce champion.

Future Matches UFC 183: Losers

Sara McMann vs. Jessica Eye

Eye and McMann have had their ups and down in the UFC and both can’t stick around the top five for long. A win would secure the spot while the loser would need to rebuild.

Nick Diaz vs. Matt Brown

This is a fight anyone would pay to see and would give Diaz the type of fight he wants. Lets see what he has left against someone who will stand and fight with him.
