Many people believed that Brendan Schaub was in for another knockout loss coming into UFC 165, but unfortunately a complete MMA game is different than just decent striking. Despite having an awful performance at Metamoris 2, Schaub was finally able to display the grappling skills many said he had but had never shown. All it took was one round for Schaub to win, because once the fight hit the ground he was able to lock up his D’arce choke. Despite Mitrione giving the thumbs up, he eventually fell asleep in the submission. Schaub credits his win to all the training he has done with the Gracies, and now a pair of those Gracies have done the submission as this week’s Gracie Breakdown. Check it out!
