It was the first qualifier for the ranking of Rio de Janeiro state, under FJJD-Rio and everyone who is competing was trainig real hard. A mild sickness was going round the house, but we all trained hard anyway. My weight class got messed up, so I ended up just entering for the absoloute purple belt division. Mike Tousingun was also in the purple belt division. Dave Young, John Lamb, and Martin Swiddle were in blue belt and Joe was in white. Mike took second in his weight and the absoloute, I took 3rd in absoloute, and Martin took second in his weight. The whole competition was run very well, on time, and professional. Dennis came along and has probably lost his voice with all the shouting. Straight after, we decided to take the old legend ”Chuck Norris” (this is not the "Walker, Texas Ranger" Chuck Norris, it’s the real Chuck a.k.a. Zac) advice and rehydrate with skol. Finding out very soon this is not a good idea, we decide to get on the metro, get a shower, and enjoy the night. Another messy night at emporium involving dancing women and booze, left us all feeling like crap on Monday. Today is Tuesday and it’s back to normal training for the Brasilaros now.
Thanks all, Mad Jack The Hat
