Quadros Joins Rumble on the Rock

HONOLULU, HAWAI’I May 02, 2005 Rumble World Entertainment (RWE) is proud to announce that Stephen Quadros, also known as “The Fight Professor,” will join RWE to broadcast the Rumble on the Rock (ROTR) 7 on May 7, 2005 at the Blaisdell Center Arena on Oahu. “I am excited about finally going to Hawaii and am pleased to be working with Rumble On The Rock and Rumble World Entertainment. These guys throw some GREAT fight shows!” he said.

Quadros will be joining Ryan Bennett to broadcast the event. The two also work together on California’s World Extreme Cagefighting shows. Quadros has worked as a host and play-by-play commentator for fight organizations including: PRIDE, K-1 and Inoki Bom Ba Ye. He currently balances his activities between acting, freelancing around the globe as a host/commentator for major fight shows (World Extreme Cagefighting and Cage Rage) and choreographing fight scenes for feature films (“Pit Fighter” will be released on June 15, 2005 by 20th Century Fox).

This explosive Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fight card includes the titanic rematch between the UFC’s original ‘bad boy’ David “Tank” Abbott and Wesley “Cabbage” Correira. Correira won the first match and Abbott now gets his chance at revenge. The rest of the card is loaded with some of the sport’s elite, including former UFC heavyweight champion, Ricco “Suave” Rodriguez, BJ Penn’s jiu-jitsu instructor Renato “Charuto” Verissimo and lightweight powerhouse Vitor “Shaolin” Ribeiro.

“This card has so many world class fighters on it. To me, Ricco, Charuto and Shaolin are among the best in the business. But the match between Tank and Cabbage will be unbelievable. Both these guys have the kind of punching power that scares people. And neither ever shies away from toe-to-toe action. Don’t expect this fight to go to the judges!” says Quadros.

Rumble On The Rock 7 will take place on Saturday, May 7, 2005 at the Blaisdell Center Arena in Honolulu, Hawaii. For more information visit or visit Stephen Quadros at
