“Irish” Jake O’Brien is 10-1 (3-1 in the UFC) and has won 8 of his 10 fights by t(ko). He’s fighting another top heavyweight prospect in Cain Velasquez at UFC Fight Night 14.
Welterweight Anthony “Rumble” Johnson has burst onto the scene with two impressive knockouts in the UFC including one in his last fight against TUF runner-up Tommy Speer. He faces Kevin Burns on the televised portion of UFC Fight Night 14.
IFL Veteran “Bad” Brad Blackburn makes his UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 14 against James Giboo. Blackburn has recently defeated UFC veterans Chris Wilson and Jay Hieron.
Highly touted undefeated middleweight Johnny Rees makes his UFC debut against fellow undefeated prospect Nate Loughran at UFN 14. Rees trains with UFC vets Chris Lytle and Jake O’Brien and has finished all 10 of his opponents.
Dale Hartt is one of the top prospects to ever come out of New England. The charismatic undefeated (5-0) fighter takes on Shannon Gugerty at UFC Fight Night 14.
UFC and Ultimate Fighter Vet Edwin “Bam Bam” Dewees is moving up to light heavyweight for the Affliction Banned card. Dewees takes on Antonio Rogerio Nogueira in the promotion’s first ever card.
Mike “Quicksand” Pyle takes on JJ Ambrose at Affliction Banned in Anaheim, California. Pyle is the only fighter to beat UFC title contender Jon Fitch at 170 lbs, and is recognized as one of the elite welterweights in the world.
Isaiah “The Striking” Viking Larson takes on Jorge Oliveira for the Palace Fighting Championship’s Light Heavyweight belt. Larson, a training partner of Brett Rogers, enters the fight with a 6-1 record.
