Quinton “Rampage” Jackson is potentially out of his UFC return fight after Bellator was granted their injunction. Both the UFC and Rampage want to fight this injunction but it is unknown if they will be able to pull the former Light-Heavyweight champion onto the card. Benson Henderson has offered to fight on the card to bolster the but who knows if anyone will fight him since he will only be able to make Welterweight. Only time will tell.
UFC Fight Announcements: UFC Fight Night 68
Dustin Poirier has gotten his wish. After returning to the Lightweight division this past weekend with a first round knockout, Poirier wanted to fight in his home state when the UFC returns to New Orleans. He will face off with Yancy Medeiros who won two straight fights last year by submission. Should be a good fight for that card for fans to watch.
UFC Fight Announcements: UFC 189
Mike Swick returns after a near three year layoff and is nearly officially the last fighter from TUF 1 still fighting in the UFC. In that time, he has been building a gym in Thailand. The last time he returned to the Octagon, he only fought two times in 2012 after a two year layoff. He will face off with Alex Garcia who has gone 2-1 in the UFC, but he lost his last fight so he will be looking for redemption as well.
UFC Fight Announcements: UFC 190
It looks like Big Nog will get his chance to redeem himself before he finishes his career, but the issue is there it will not come agains the man he wanted. He wanted to close out the one-sided trilogy with Frank Mir, but he will instead face Stefan Struve who has fallen on his own hard times. After sitting out a long time due to a heart defect he was bested by Alistair Overeem by getting knocked out.
