UFC Weekend Fight Predictions gives you the lowdown on the big matches coming up this weekend.
The UFC is putting on two cards this weekend, so there will be many UFC Weekend Fight Predictions for you to checkout.
UFC Weekend Fight Predictions: Fight Night 55
Luke Rockhold vs. Michael Bisping
The rumor has been that bisping once knocked out Rockhold in training, and while both have trash talked back and forth for a long time neither have denied that fact. Add into that, that Bisping has better wrestling, better striking, and can keep it off the ground it looks like a long night for Rockhold. Bisping by decision.
Ross Pearson vs. Al Iaquinta
Pearson is a tough striker and Iaquinta is tough for taking this fight. The only problem is that Iaquinta has only ever lost by submission and has never been knocked out. Look for Iaquinta to wear Pearson down on his way to a decision victory.
Dylan Andrews vs. Sam Alvey
Andrews and Alvey are plenty tough for one fighter let alone two. The problem is that Alvey has always been better at 185 and had trouble making 170. Andrews is making the cut for the first time too so it may make both of them exhausted. Alvey is the more experienced weight cutter and has rarely been finished, so look for him to finish in the third when Andrews is running on fumes.
Robert Whittaker vs. Clint Hester
Whittaker is in for big trouble in this fight. He has been consistently fighting at 170 and all the sudden decided to jump up to Middleweight. That is a big issue when you will be giving up reach, height, and most likely weight to your opponent. Hester is one of the more physically strong fighters in the UFC, and his 4-0 record indicates a better fighter than his skills would indicate on his TUF stint. Look for Hester to pick up another KO win this weekend.
UFC Weekend Fight Predictions: Fight Night 56
Mauricio Rua vs. Ovince St. Preux
Rua has the advantage in that Preux is coming in on short notice, but unless he can keep the fight standing he is in big trouble. Plus, Preux is hungry to prove his worth after losing to Ryan Bader. Rua has been too hot and cold as of late, and although he is a former champion his skills have declined. Look for Preux to run away with a decision victory.
Ian McCall vs. John Lineker
McCall has been talking to much about a future matchup with Demetrious Johnson instead of worrying about his opponent. Lineker like all Russians has very dangerous wrestling, hands that can knock anyone out, and the ability to dictate the pace. As long as his weight cutting issues are handled, Lineker will walk away with a victory in this fight by decision.
