UFC Fight Night 65 Predictions: Main Event
Stipe Miocic vs. Mark Hunt
This is a big fight for both fighters. Hunt is coming off a title shot and only has a few fights left to get back to that position. Miocic was on the rise toward a title shot until getting beaten by JDS in his last fight. Miocic likes to stand with fighters and that is a bad idea with Hunt. If Struve can TKO him, then it is a no-brainer Hunt will end this by knockout.
UFC Fight Night 65 Predictions: Co-Main Event
Brad Tavares vs. Robert Whittaker
Tavares was streaking with five straight wins before losing two straight fights including a knockout loss to Tim Boestch. Whittaker meanwhile had a successful jump to 185 by knocking out Clint Hester. Tavares will use his grinding abilities to win a decision over Whittaker.
UFC Fight Night 65 Predictions: Undercard
Hatsu Hioki vs. Dan Hooker
Hioki came in as a monster before going 1-4 in his last five fights. Hooker meanwhile is a good fighter no matter where the fights go since he has split his wins between submission and knockouts. Unfortunately for Hooker, he can easily get sucked up in Hioki’s ground game which will cause him to lose by submission.
Dan Kelly vs. Sam Alvey
Kelly is an undefeated fighter with over half of his wins by submission while Alvey is re-surging vet with his last two veterans coming by knockout. Alvey has not had the best luck with people who are ground fighters, but his experience will give him the edge in a decision victory.
Bec Rawlings vs. Lisa Ellis
Rawlings had a change of opponent not too long ago which put Ellis into this fight. Both fighters are in desperate need of a win, because with a loss they may be out of a job. At the end of the day, Ellis has 6 out of 9 losses by submission while while Rawlings has won 3 out of 5 by sub. Look for Rawlings to win this fight.
