Michael Bisping vs. Cung Le
Bisping was on the cusp of a title shot when he lost to Chael Sonnen in a fight many people thought he won. Since then, he has gone 2-2 where he was out struck by Vitor Belfort and out wrestled by Tim Kennedy. Le has the ability to knock him out but is coming off a nearly two year layoff. The last time he took a long layoff he was knocked out by an aging Wanderlei Silva when he tired in the second round. Bisping does not have that type of power, but he does have cardio that Le will not be able to match. Bisping by TKO in the third.
Dong Hyun Kim vs. Tyron Woodley
Kim is one of the more underrated fighters in the UFC and seems to have hit his stride as of late with knockouts in his last two fights. Meanwhile, Woodley seems to be a good fighter and a top fighter but has not proven himself yet. He has disappointing losses to Rory MacDonald and ex UFC fighter Jake Shields, his only wins were knockouts against aging fighters Josh Koscheck and Jay Hieron and a win due to injury over Carlos Condit. Kim is the more technical fighter who will pick up the last two rounds after a back and fort first round.
UFC Fight Night: Henderson vs. Dos Anjos
Benson Henderson vs. Rafael Dos Anjos
While Benson may not still be the champion, the bottom line is that he is a monster when it comes to consistency. He will have fought three times since losing the belt a year ago while current champion Anthony Pettis has not fought once. Dos Anjos is a spectacular 6-1 in the last six years but he does not have anywhere besides his submission to beat Henderson. Without being able to dictate where the fight goes, look for Henderson to grind out a decision or late stoppage in this fight.
Mike Pyle vs. Jordan Mein
This is a fight between two fighters who are great everywhere they fight, but just happen to have a 14 year difference in age. Pyle is a dangerous fighter, but he seems to have trouble when facing tough strikers. MacDonald and Brown knocked him out while he was hurt in some of his other wins. Mein came back after a year off and took his last fight, he will build off that win with a knockout over Pyle in the first round.
Francis Carmont vs. Thales Leites
This fight makes absolutely no sense. Leites has always gotten a raw deal since being dropped from the promotion one fight removed from a title shot and now fighting a fighter on a two fight losing streak after winning his last three straight in the promotion. Carmont usually uses his reach and wrestling to win fights, but here both of those are not his advantage. Leites is smaller but has the same reach and is dangerous on the ground as a BJJ black belt. Leites picks up a convincing decision win
