RITC 70 is shaping up to be an incredible night of fight action when Rage in theCage returns to Glendale Arena on June 11th. Joe Riggs, who graduated just 4 yearsago from nearby Cactus High School, where he was a wrestling and football standout,will be in one Main Event. Local favorite and UFC veteran Edwin Dewees returns toaction after a 2 year lay-off. He will be moving down to the Middleweight divisionlater this year. Edwin will be in the other Main Event making is come back againstformer pro boxer Rich Alten.
Gilbert Aldano risks his Super Heavyweight Title, and his KO streak, against heavyhanded Melville Calabaca. Michelle “GrappleGirl” Farrow puts her woman’s title onthe line against Mystee Blackwell who hails from the mid-west and has a 5-1 record. Tucson standout Ed West defends his Lightweight Title against popular Casa Grandefighter Carlos Ortega.
Co-Fighters of the Night in RITC 68 Ray Elbe and Aaron Acero will again showcasetheir skills. Former ASU wrestler Scott Hollingsworth takes on Joe Rigg’s teammateand future starRyan Potter. Juco All-American Jamie Varner faces tough former Marine wrestlerAnthony Triliegi.
