In the first fight Nick Willert fought Juan Cervantes
In the first round the fighters meet in the center and go to the ground. Cervantes rolls over and Willert takes his back .Cervantes taps to a rear naked choke hold at 1:19 in the first round.
In the second fight Brent Cooper fought Lucas Taber
Round 1Fighters touch gloves and exchange punches. Cooper appears to get the better of it. Cooper tries to pull guard after a minute referee restarts the action. Fight continues, Taber pulls guard again, Cooper lands several punches. Taber rolls to a knee bar as the round ends.
Round 2Both fighters meet in the center and swap punches. Cooper lands a big knee and drops Taber. Cooper lands several punches from up top and Taylor scores with a kick from the ground. Both fighters stand back up. Taber tries to drop to his guard; Cooper does want to be on the ground. Both fighters stand back up. Taber tries a take down but is fatigued. The round ends with Cooper in Taylor’s half guard.
Round 3Cooper and Taber exchange punches. Cooper lands a big right and both fighters against the fence. Cooper drops Taber with several punches and Taber lands a kick to Cooper face from the ground. Both fighters back to their feet. Cooper lands a big right hand and knocks Taber to the ground and the referee stops the fight at 2:35. Cooper wins by TKO.
In the third fight Jesse Taylor fought Chris Chaisson
Round 1 Fighters come out exchange punches and Taylor shoots in takes Chris to the ground. Taylor gets mounted position. Taylor gets side control and uses his elbows and punches. Chris goes to guard then Taylor gets full mount against him. Taylor punching down on Chris from the full mount.
Round 2
Chris lands a leg kick but gets taken down. Taylor in side control striking Chris. Referee stops the fight to have Chris checked out due to bleeding. Referee stops the contest due to broken nose on Chris. Taylor wins the bout by TKO.
In the fourth fight Julian Rush fought Josh Tamson.
In the first round both fighters touch gloves and Tamson takes Rush down. Tamson works an Achilles lock on Rush but is unable to sink the hold. Tamson tries to sit back with the ankle lock but does it too slowly. Rush sits up with him and lands several punches. Rush takes Tamson’s back and lands more punches. The referee stops the fights. Rush wins by TKO at 1:16 in the first round.
In the fifth fight Gary Padilla fought Allen Sullivan
Round 1 Padilla comes out with a superman punch but misses. Sullivan takes him down. Padilla gets the scarf position on Sullivan. Both fighters back to their feet. Padilla takes down Sullivan. The first round was primarily a wrestling match with both opponents showing how to take a person down with wrestling throws.
Round 2
Both fighters meet in the center of the cage. Sullivan goes to do a throw and falls back, appears to have blown his left knee out. Referee stops the fight. Padilla wins by TKO.
After the fight OTM heard that Sullivan did not dislocate his left knee but hyper extended it.
In the sixth fight Tim Persey fought Ronald Rumpf.
Round 1Fighters meet in the ring Rumpf throws a roundhouse kick. Persey takes Rumpf to the ground and lands two elbows on Rumpf which knocks him out. Persey wins by knock out at 19 seconds into the first round.
In the seventh fight David Mejia fought Kyle York.
Round 1 York throws a roundhouse kick. Mejia counters with a punch. York tries a takedown but Mejia defends it. Fighters swap punches on their feet. York tries a takedown, Mejia sprawls, works his way to York’s back. Mejia lands a big punch from York’s back. The referee stops the fight.
In the eight fight of the night Carlos Quilon fought George Pelayo
Round 1Both fighters come out swinging. This is a fest paced fight with both fighters exchanging punches. Carlos lands a big knee to George’s ribs. Both fighters continue to exchange punches. Carlos lands another knee, George goes down and George gets mounted position. George uses the cage to roll over and Carlos goes for an arm bar. George counters the arm bar to a toe hold but George gets out of it. As Carlos is standing back up George kicks him. As the referee steps in to warn George, Carlos drops George with a right hand. The referee warns George about the low kick. Carlos lands another punch on George who goes to the ground. Carlos gets mounted position on George and lands several more punches. The referee stops the fight. Carlos wins by TKO.
In the eight and final fight of the night David Rivas fought Kyle Brees
Round 1Brees throws a flying knee. Rivas throws a right and fighters lock up in the ring. Both fighters go to the ground. Brees get the knee in the belly position starts the ground and pound and the referee stops the fight. Brees wins by TKO.
