Valor Fighting brought several fighters to the July 14 Cage Rage show and proved why Valor Fighters are some of the best: ENTERTAINMENT! Valor’s Herb Dean took on another Valor Fighter in Dave “Legend Killer” Legeno. Legeno stayed on top of Dean for the majority of an exciting first round. However, near the end of the first round, Dean took a thumb to the eye and was unable to continue the fight. Legeno stays on a roll, with his 4th consecutive win in Cage Rage!

James Thompson, another Valor Fighter, saw himself in trouble as he fought last minute replacement Neil Grove stun him with 2 quick right hands. Thompson had prepared for Wesley “Cabbage” Correira, who had to pull out due to an injury. Thompson nevertheless, looked impressive as always.

And in the main event, Valor’s always popular Butterbean faced off against Cage Rage Champion Tengiz Tedoradze. In what may have been the round of the night, Butterbean saw Tengiz rush him, and Bean caught him with a hard left hook and dropped Tengiz. As Butterbean went into finish, he found himself on the ground as Tengiz gained his bearings quickly, and began punching Butterbean who had no defense on the ground. The fight was stopped with 30 seconds left in the first round, and Tedoradze got the win over the formidable Butterbean!

Also on July 14, Valor sent Jerry Brown to Hawaii, to fight on Rumble on the Rock Qualifiers. Brown, a relative newcomer to the sport, was defeated by Mike Aina in his Rumble debut.
