The 2nd Pacific Northwest Jiu-jitsu Championships is taking shape as the best grappling tournament Seattle has seen yet! Sept. 30th at Yesler Community Center, Gi and No Gi grappling divisions will include Men’s, Women’s, and Kids for all belts and levels, and a Professional Blackbelt Showdown you don’t want to miss. To ensure a smooth running tournament, the Gi and No Gi divisions will run at the same time so none of the competitors have to wait. So although fighters can only compete in the Gi or No Gi division, everyone will get at least 2 fights, inlcuding matches for 3rd place in each division. Teams for this year’s Championship will include Marcelo Alonso, Lotus Jiu-jitsu, Cerna Martial Arts, Gracie Barra, New Breed, United Fight Team, Machado Spokane, BJJ Olympia, Superkicks Idaho, Team Demon, Oregon Pound, Everett Jiu-jitsu, Universal Martial Arts, Seattle Jiu-jitsu Club, Submission Shack, Team Quest, Straight Blast Gym, Proving Grounds MMA, and more.
