ADCC North American Championship 2012 this Sunday (San Diego, CA)

ADCC North American Championships (World Qualifiers) Sunday October 14th (San Diego, California)

After an amazing 2011 ADCC World Championships, ADCC is back in search of the world’s best submission fighters. Trials from all over the world have begun, and the road for North American competitors starts in San Diego, on Sunday October 14th.  ADCC North America returns to San Diego, for the 2012 North American Championships.

Every two years, the ADCC Submission Fighting World Championships gathers the best submission fighters from around the world. There are only two ways to make it to the elite brackets of the World Championships. The first is by a direct invitation, which is only for top level competitors who have placed in previous World Championships. The second is by winning regional qualifiers.

This is the first world qualifier for residents of USA, Canada and Mexico. The 2nd qualifier will be next year in a date and location TBA.  Winners of this competition receive the first slots into the 2013 world championships.

This competition will also feature for the first time ever, a special awards ceremony to select ADCC fighters as well as a possible super fight. Online Registration will be available soon. For more information on the event go to as well as

IMPORTANT: Competitors Must have a US or Canadian passport to compete!

Cost: $80.00 USD (No Refunds)

Weigh Ins: Will be done before the division is called the same day of competition.

Prizes: Every male weight classes’ winner receives official invite to the ADCC World Championship 2013.

Every weight classes’ 3 best fighters receive medals.

Every winner of each weight class will receive an official ADCC Kimono donated by Fuji Sports.
