Fox Sports’ Tomm Looney Named Ring Announcer
DALLAS, TX — Tickets go on sale this Saturday, July 21st for ART OF WAR 3, USA vs Brazil, International Mixed-Martial-Arts event scheduled for Saturday, September 1st at Dallas’ American Airlines Center.
Team USA meets Team Brazil for the first time in a ten-bout fight card featuring American MMA star Jeff “Snowman” Monson, challenging Brazilian legend Pedro “The Rock” Rizzo for the IFA World Heavyweight Championship.
Tickets are priced at $300 (VIP Cageside), $100, $75, $50 & $30 and are available at the American Airlines Center Box Office and all Ticketmaster outlets, as well as online at www.ticketmaster.com.
SUN Sports & Entertainment Inc., promoters of the event also announced FOX Sports anchor Tomm Looney will be the Ring Announcer and MC for the Art of War 3™ International Mixed-Martial-Arts (MMA) event at American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas on September 1st 2007.
Tomm Looney has been an image voice at FOX Sports, including “the voice” ofBest Damn Sports Show Period. For more than five years and 1500 shows, Looney has introduced Best Damn to America with his inimitable style, and for the past four years, Looney has anchored “The FOX National Sports Report” on FOX Sports Radio. Additionally, Looney is the co-host of America’s most listened to nighttime sports talk show in America, “FOX GameTime React.” Looney stated,” I have a dream TV job and a dream Radio job, but Ring Announcing is absolutely what I was born to do”.
The Art of War 3 will debut The USA National Team on September 1, 2007 at American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX.
