Warrior Promotions are pleased to announce the updatedCage Warriors: Showdown card, which is due to takeplace at the Octagon Centre, Sheffield on Saturday16th September. This show will feature a 13 bout fight card whichconsists of several top level European and Domesticbouts and features a long awaited main event betweentop Welterweight contenders Dan “The Outlaw” Hardy andDanny Rushton. This show is also highlighted by a CWFC LightweightTitle bout as reigning champion XANDINHO looks tosilence the critics and win the CWFC Title outrightwhen he faces the talented German all rounder Franco”Ortega” de Leonardis. Warrior Promotions are also pleased to announce thatlong time UK MMA star Matt Ewin will make his returnto Cage Warriors when he faces the ex-ATT memberThiago “Jambo” Goncalves of the European Pro Team inMiddleweight action. Other featured bouts includeNorthern Cartel members Matt “12 Gauge” Thorpe and Ian”M-16″ Butlin in action against the experienced Germanstar Peter Angerer and the Welshman Phil Raeburnrespectively. The international flavour continues with anotherex-ATT member Marcello Salazar (now with the EuropeanPro Team) taking on young up and comer Tom “Kong”Watson, whilst Showdown will also see the first UKappearance of Karl Amoussou, who is the youngerbrother of the Pride Bushido veteran BertrandAmoussou.
