The UFC’s regular "Countdown" show that is used to promote the featured fighters in their monthly Pay-Per-View (PPV) events, made its debut on Fuel TV last night with "Countdown to UFC 143" and the full video of the episode is now available online.
The show previews Saturday night’s UFC 143 – Diaz vs. Condit main event and two other featured bouts. The main card of UFC 143 will broadcast live on PPV at 10 p.m. EST / 7 p.m. EST live from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Among those featured in "Countdown to UFC 143" are headliners Nick Diaz and Carlos Condit, who will battle for the UFC interim welterweight title. Next the episode focused on the heavyweight tilt between Roy Nelson and Fabricio Werdum. The show concluded with a look at the welterweight clash between Josh Koscheck and Mike Pierce.
