Edinaldo “Lula” is the new WFE Heavyweight Champion

Sparring Partner of Junior dos Santos, Edinaldo "Lula" Molusco was famous in Brazil after his victory against the Pride and Cage Rage veteran Edson Draggo, in WFE 5. Back to the ring at WFE 6, last Wednesday, in Salvador, "Lula" faced Joaquim "Mamute" for the WFE Heavyweight Championship.

"Mamute", by the way, is the only man that defeated Junior dos Santos.

But, with "Lula", JDS had his revenge.

In a bout of five rounds, "Lula" had not a good start, but recovered and then punished "Mamute" in a striking game, winning by unanimous decision.

For the featherweight belt, Eduardo Kiko submitted Marcio Bittencourt with a guillotine choke and is the new champion.
