Reigning ROF Champion and Shooto veteran Christian RELENTLESS Allen (6- 2) faces off against the undefeated fighter Lah Thao (5- 0).

Thao stands 5’5″ and weighs 145 lbs. He is a former High School wrestler and has a 3rd degree black belt in the Korean art of Tae Kwon Do. He is the current KTK Feather Weight Champion Thao is based out of Wasau, Wi and represents TEAM RISING SUN. He is a proficient striker and has a 17 second high kick k.o. on his record.

Allen’s nickname RELENTLESS comes from his fighting style in the ring. He has the conditioning level to set an incredible pace of lightning quick stand up and rapid fire submission attempts. He became the ROF Champion in February of last year with a submission victory over Joe Doherty. In April of 2007 he succesfully defended his belt against Ryan Hass from Des Moines, Iowa. Allen is as dangerous on his feet as he is on the ground. He is currently being scouted by two top tier MMA organizations.

Challenger Lah Thao:”I think it’s awesome that I will be fighting for the Ring Of Fire belt. It is a big opportunity for me and I feel honored to fight a great champion in Christian Allen. I know he is a good striker and has a very good ground game as well. But I am also very confident in the strengths that I bring to the table. I know it will be challenging coming to Denver to face the home crowd and also the altitude, but to quote Matthew 10:28 “Fear no man, only God can destroy the soul”.

Champion Christian Allen”My training was perfect for this fight and I have never felt better. I plan at some point to make a run at 135 lbs as I know I can make that weight, but for right now all I care about is keeping my 145 belt. My career started with ROF and no matter what I do I will always call ROF home. Being the Ring Of Fire champion feels like I am Colorado’s champion also, and I do not want to let my home state down. I know Lah is tough, has some good wins and is undefeated. I have put the time in the gym. I trained hard and I am focused, I am ready for wherever this fight goes, standing or on the mat.
