FIGHT WEEK SCHEDULE SET FOR ART OF WAR 2, AUSTIN’S BIGGEST MMA FIGHT NIGHT EVER

AUSTIN, TEXAS—Following a successful world premier event last March 9th at Dallas’ American Airlines Center, ART OF WAR Undisputed Arena Fighting Championships are now set to premier in Austin, Texas. The stage is set for Mixed-Martial Arts fighting, America’s fastest growing sport, on Friday, May 11 at the Austin (Texas) Convention Center when Sun Sports & Entertainment presents…ART OF WAR 2. Ten exciting fights are scheduled for the circle cage, starting at 7:30 p.m. In Dallas, UFC veterans Pedro Rizzo and Justin Eilers battled for the newly formed IFA World Heavyweight Championship. Once again, it will be highly regarded heavyweight contenders in the Main Event for the May 11th, ART OF WAR 2 in Austin. Wes “The Project” Sims (21-8-1…Lancaster, Ohio), a former UFC and IFL contender and one of the world’s tallest fighters at 6’10”, will be taking on MMA veteran Chris “The Guillotine ” Guillen (33-7…St. George, Utah). Also slated for featured action on the card is Austin MMA star and IFL contender, Freddie Espiricueta. Espiricueta will have his hands full with former UFC World title challenger, David “The Crow” Loiseau. Other Austin fighters participating on the card include; Matt Thompson, Ryan Larson and Kamal Shalorus. Guillen won’t be intimidated by the bigger Smith. “No problem with me,” said Guillen of Sim’s 10″ height advantage. “Everyone knows my game is ground and pound and when an opponent is on the ground, we are all the same height.” The winner of the Sims vs Guillen fight will most certainly be in line for a world title shot at the recently crowned IFA champion, Rizzo, according to Sun Sports & Entertainment CEO, C.J. Comu. “Absolutely, we would be looking for the winner to fight Rizzo for the IFA title,” confirmed Comu. “Our goal at Sun is to present the best fights and fighters in the world and a Championship fight between the winner of Sims and Guillen against Rizzo would certainly fit that bill.” In addition to the main event, Comu guarantees Austin fight fans an exciting night. “From top to bottom, we have an excellent card,” he noted. “In addition to our main event, we have the best of the Austin MMA fighters, as well as several noted International fighters on the card.
