Future Fights UFC Fight Night 64

Future Fights UFC Fight Night 64 is who we think the winners and losers of this weekend’s fight card should face off with in their next trip to the Octagon.

Future Fights UFC Fight Night 64: Winners

Mirko Cro Cop vs. Frank Mir

I think it is time that TUF reached Russia and Europe with many fighters reaching the top of divisions from those countries. Make it Europe versus Russia with two of the most prolific Heavyweights heading up the show with Mir versus Cro Cop. Mir is facing off with Todd Duffee next but win or lose this show/fight could make a good retirement fight for each.

Jimi Manuwa vs. Ovince St. Preux/Patrick Cummins

Manuwa won but it was not pretty. OSP is facing off with Patrick Cummins soon and the winner should face off with Manuwa. They all sit around the same position in the rankings and a win over each other would rocket them up to a top five fight.

Maryna Moroz vs. Carla Esparza

Moroz called out the champion but that is a bit premature with only one fight in the Octagon. Esparza was the former champion and needs to rebound. Moroz can show off her skills one more time and if she best Esparza then set up the title fight she wants.

Aleksandra Albu vs. Heather Clark

Albu is another debuting female fighter who had a good debut. She only has two professional fights and Clark would be a good stern test for her. She is good in all facets of the game but not great. Have Albu face her too see how far she can go in this sport at this moment.

Future Fights UFC Fight Night 64: Losers

Gabriel Gonzaga vs. Roy Nelson

One fighter is 0-3 and the other is 0-4. No matter how much fun they are to watch fighting one may be looking for a new place to fight soon. The loser of this gets cut to make room for a new fighter while the winner can try and rebuild.

Joanne Calderwood vs. Izabela Badurek

Both fighters were gauged to win on this card, both were submitted by less experienced fighters, and both want to prove themselves. Match them up to see who can erase the memory of that submission loss.
