Future Matches UFC Fight Night 67: Main Event

Carlos Condit vs. Loser of Lawler vs. MacDonald

Conduit may have called for a title shot but the bottom line is he has only won two fight even without the time off. That is not enough to deserve a title shot in a very stacked division. It would be easy to match him up with former opponents Tyron Woodley and Johnny Hendricks but those fight are boring written all over them. Let him take the loser of the title fight for a big fight and maybe one more before an eventual title shot.

Thiago Alves vs. Patrick Cote

Alves was thrown into a losing fight. He is a good fighter but he became a title contender when the likes of Dan Hardy was getting title shots. This is not the same division. Let him match up with up and comers and gritty veterans for good fights. Cote makes a good matchup for the two striking based fighters.

Future Matches UFC Fight Night 67: Co-Main Event

Charles Oliveira vs. Loser of Aldo vs. Mcgregor

Oliveira called for a shot at the title but his losses hold him back until he line for a title fight clears up. Also, Holloway is the other young fighter and it makes no sense to knock off two up and comers in the same fight. Holloway should take on Mendes, Edgar deserves the next title shot, and Oliveira can get the loser of the title fight.

Nik Lentz vs. Diego Brandao

Lenz needs fighters that will force him to actually fight instead of being held down cause it brings out a better fighter that is within him. Brandao just came off a big victory due to his violent fighting style and that would make the perfect matchup for lent after this big fight, even if he lost.

Future Matches UFC Fight Night 67: Undercard

Jussier Formiga vs. Joseph Benavidez

Formica wants to fight for the title, but with Johnson being light years ahead of almost every other fighter it is hard to give a title shot to someone who has lost to the two top fighters in the division besides the champion. If he can rematch Benavides and win it will show he has truly changed.

Wilson Reis vs. John Moraga

Reis may have proved he is more of a gatekeeper but no one is better at that job than Moraga who continues to beat everyone outside of the top five, so to prove he deserves that spot look for him and Reis to face off for that right.

Mirsad Bektic vs. Clay Guida

Bektic needs to be on the main card to get some notoriety but no one will pay attention unless it is someone with a name themselves. Look for Bektic to face off with Guida who still needs to prove he is at the top by taking out a few more prospects before he gets a crack at a top five fighter at 145 again.

Darren Till vs. Colby Covington

Till showed some true skill down in Brazil but as an undefeated prospect in and out of the Octagon he can take on Covington who fits the same bill. These two need to face off to see who deserves a crack at becoming a true top 15 fighter.
