The Professional Submission League (PSL) brings hardcore grappling action to the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium on Friday, May 26. Dubbed “L.A. SUB X”, the event will showcase single match ups featuring the greatest submission athletes of our time.
Three new match-ups have been added to an already impressive field:
Marcelo Garcia the most popular submission artist on the planet today brings his trendsetting jiu-jitsu to “L.A. Sub X”. Garcia a World Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) and Abu-Dhabi (ADCC) World Submission Wrestling Champion faces Cameron Earle. Earle twice the US Open BJJ Champion recently took out the Brazilian sensation at Rickson Gracie’s Budo Challenge.
The big boys collide as Marcio “Pe De Pano” Cruz and rival Jeff “The Snowman” Monson take center stage at “LA Sub X”. Monson, one of Americas most highly decorated grapplers with two ADCC heavyweight titles on his resume would like to close the door on ADCC & World BJJ champion, Pe De Pano. Cruz is out for revenge coming off the losing end of a controversial judges decision to Monson in the Ultimate Fighting Championships 59.
The Professional Submission League is happy to announce that the women are set to light up the tatame inside the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. Japanese sub star Megumi Fujii is set to take on Pan American and Grapplers Quest champion Michelle Mills of Jackson Gaidojitsu in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Fujii, an ADCC medalist and undefeated in Mixed Martial Artist is excited to be back competing in the States and promises an action packed bout.Bruce Buffer, the voice of MMA will host LA SUB X along with special guests MMA superstars Randy Couture and Josh Barnett.
