Gracie World Championships This Weekend!!!

For the few competitors who have never competed in one of the International Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Federation tournaments, you have no idea what you’re missing out on.

Our no nonsense approach to competition guarantees that each match will be decided by the skill level, endurance, and strategy of the competitors, and not by the technicality of the points, favoritism of the judges or a 6 minute time limit.

To win a match, a competitor must accumulate 12 points or submit his/her opponent. If the fight goes the distance, the competitor with the most points at the end the 30 minute round wins the fight.

Because of the amount of activity that takes place during each match as the competitors strive to achieve a submission, few fights last more than 8 minutes. Our submission ration is over 75% which is ridiculously high compared to any traditional BJJ tournament.

The competition is just as exciting to watch as it is to compete in and spectator tickets can be purchased at the gate.
