Guto Inocente is the new South-American Shooto Champion

 Held last Friday in Brasilia, Shooto Brazil 18 had added more big fights and a South American champion in his squad, this time in the heavyweight category.

 

In the main event of the evening, Guto Inocente was all up with the Argentine Gustavo Moia. In less than a minute, the Brazilian cornered his opponent, hit a stomp and amended with a knee, knocking out his opponent. With the victory, Guto is the new South American champion of Shooto among the heavyweights.

 

In the best fight of the night, John Lineker defeated Alvino Torres in the second round with a rear naked choke, submitting his adversary.

 

According to André Pederneiras, promoter of the event, will be held more two stages of Shooto Brazil this year, one in October and another in December.
